Aged Care(SaH/HCP/Private): Selecting Split Funding Sources

How to Access the Funding Selector (Navigation Path)

To view and adjust a shift's specific billing route on your active roster grid:
Go to Roster (Left Sidebar) > Click an active shift block or double-click an empty cell to open a new booking > Look at the compact Appointment sidebar panel (Right Side).

Step-by-Step Guide

You can swap funding pools seamlessly inside the active shift setting:

Locating the Sub-Ledger Row

  1. With your right-hand appointment sidebar open, scroll down past the core scheduling fields (such as Date, Time, and Address).

  2. Locate the row marked with the currency icon ($). This row lists the active package category paired to the client alongside the estimated cost impact of that specific shift.

NDIS: Real-Time Projected Budget Balances

To prevent over-scheduling or exceeding contract limits when creating shifts or recurring series, the scheduling pane provides a live financial safety net.

Navigation Path: 👉 Go to Roster (Left Sidebar) > Open or create a shift > Select an NDIS Client > Select the Type of service.

Entering both parameters instantly triggers the backend calculation engine. The system evaluates the chosen service type against the participant's active contract allocations and displays an inline Funding Summary card right above your save controls.

  1. Projected Balance: Displays the remaining funds available after subtracting the estimated cost of the shift or entire future series from the client's current budget.

  2. Budget Period: Displays the active timeline framework of the client's service agreement.

  3. Category: Explicitly tracks the exact NDIS support registry line item being drawn down.

  4. Category Budget: Displays the total financial cap allocated to that specific support group, allowing you to see remaining allowances instantly.
