Step-by-Step Guide: Records Due

With Records Due, you’ll never have to worry about incomplete forms or team members missing required tasks.

Automating Due Dates in the Form Builder.

Here are the steps to add an automatic due date generator to your form:

  1. Select the Design icon for the form you want to edit. If the form does not exist, click Form Builder to create it.

  2. Select Form Settings.

  3. Choose between Set Date or Days From Creation to configure automatic due dates based on your preferences.
    Note: Set Dates are for static dates, while Days From Creation are for dates that are actioned by instances (e.g., #no days from creation).

  4. Click Save once you've made all the necessary changes.

  5. Finally, click Publish for your new form setting's due dates generator to come into action.

Add to Update Due Dates on Individual Records.

To add or update due dates for individual records, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Record for which you want to add or update its due date.

  2. Click on the calendar icon labelled Update Due Date.

  3. In the Set Due Date field, enter your preferred due date and time. You can also choose to clear the due date from this window.

  4. Once you have entered the information, click Save. Your due date has now been updated or added to the selected record.


Step-by-Step Guide: Scheduled Forms

IndyForms’ customisable scheduling feature makes it easy to stay on top of recurring obligations.

Automating Schedules.

To use Scheduled Forms, please follow the instructions mentioned below:

  1. Select the Design icon for the form you want to edit. If the form does not exist, click Form Builder to create it.

  2. Click on the Schedule (calendar icon).

  3. Click to +Create a new schedule generation rule.

  4. Enter the Date you want the rule to start from, the Due Date for records created, and the Users and/or Groups the scheduling rule applies to.

  5. To make this a recurring schedule, select Repeat, and choose how often.

  6. Click Save once you've made all the necessary changes.

  7. Finally, click Publish for your new schedules generator to come into action.

Note: The Schedule feature will only work on Published Forms and will be live on Active Forms. You can see all your live schedules from the Advanced > Generation Rules page.


Step-by-Step Guide: Dashboard

To-Do Widget.

Here's a guide on how to navigate and use the To-Do view:

  1. First, go to the Dashboard and click on the To-Do widget.

  2. You'll see a list of records that are due Today, Upcoming, and Overdue.

  3. If you have the necessary permissions or are an Admin User, you can edit the due dates for these records. To do so, simply click on the Update Due Date (calendar icon) and select a new due date. Make sure to click Save once you're done.
