Understanding Your Dashboard

The IndyForms Dashboard is your personal workspace and command centre.

From your Dashboard, you can manage your forms, track your activity, collaborate with your team, and stay on top of tasks—all in one place!

Discover Section

Located right at the top of your Dashboard, the Discover section helps you jump straight into action with quick access tiles:

  • Start designing a form – Begin building from scratch or use a template.

  • Manage your users – Invite team members and manage user access.

  • View your profile – Update your name, email, avatar, and theme.

  • Manage subscription – Update your billing plan or organisation details.

These shortcuts are ideal for onboarding new users or streamlining your day-to-day tasks.


To-Do Widget

The To-Do widget keeps you aware of your time-sensitive form records. It displays:

  • Today – Forms due today

  • This Week – Forms due this week

  • Overdue – Forms past their deadline

Click the numbers to access your due forms. For upcoming forms not listed here, check the Calendar widget.

Calendar Widget

The Calendar widget gives you a monthly overview of form deadlines and due dates. It’s a visual way to stay on top of your responsibilities and see what’s coming up at a glance.

What the colours mean:

  • 🔴 Red – Overdue forms

  • 🟡 Yellow – Forms due soon

  • 🔵 Blue – Upcoming forms

Click on any marked date to view and action the forms due on that day. You can also hover over dates with multiple entries to see a count of tasks.

Use this tool to manage your time effectively and avoid surprises.


Pinned Forms

Pinned Forms are your organisation’s priority forms—easily accessible and ready to use. You can:

  • Click the + button to start a new form record

If a form is pinned here, you’ve been granted access to complete and submit it. Consider it your go-to form toolbox.


My Recent Records

This widget lists the forms you’ve recently worked on—especially handy if you didn’t finish or want to review your last activity. You’ll see:

  • The form title

  • The last accessed date

  • Its completion status (e.g. Incomplete)

Click any entry to resume editing or check your progress.


Action Items

The Action Items widget tracks tasks or checks requiring your attention. It includes:

  • Item details (e.g. “CPR Renewal”)

  • The person it’s for

  • How long it's been outstanding

  • The form or process it relates to

Use the dropdown menu to filter by:

  • My Action Items

  • Assigned To Me

  • Overdue

  • Completed

  • Incomplete

Click any item to open and address it straight away.


Emails Sent

Stay in the loop with the Emails Sent widget. It displays a log of outgoing emails associated with form submissions or shared items.


Profile & Account Settings

Access your personal and organisation settings by clicking your avatar in the top-right corner. From there, you can:

  • Update your profile – Name, email, avatar, theme colour

  • View account settings – Org name, logo, billing contact, and merchant setup

  • Manage subscriptions – Choose a plan, assign admin licences, and monitor storage

  • Generate access tokens – For secure integrations and external connections


Organisation Switching & Form Sharing

If you’re part of more than one organisation, you can:

  • Switch organisations using the top dropdown

  • Visit My Home to view all your organisations

  • Use Copy Design to duplicate forms across organisations, saving time and effort

Help & Support

Need assistance? The Help button is always available in your sidebar and within the in-app chat launcher, located at the bottom-right corner.

Use it to:

  • Ask a question (AI and support team are ready to help)

  • Watch a short intro video

  • Search help articles instantly

You can also open a live support chat with the IndyForms team whenever you need a hand.

FAQs

Q. Can I customise what appears on my dashboard?

While you can’t fully customise the layout, you can interact with widgets like Pinned Forms, Action Items, and To-Do to personalise your workflow.

Q. Why don’t I see any forms in my Pinned Forms or To-Do list?

If nothing appears, it may be because no forms have been assigned or pinned by your organisation yet. Please reach out to your administrator to confirm your access.
