The customers will only receive the discount if they swipe their loyalty card.
This is a reporting facility only to monitor the Loyalty only sales vs Non-Loyalty sales for a specific period compared to a selected period.
Important to set this up on the till before setting up in Self Service.
On the Self Service menu select Point of Sale/Cardholder Discount Reports followed by Create New Cardholder Only Discount Promotion.
Complete all fields: Name = Loyalty drive and date; Description = What the intention of this is (can be the same as the name); Start Date (can never be the current date); End Date; Comparative Start Date; Comparative End Date and then select next.
Add the products by selecting Add Product Item followed by ^.
On the pop-up menu, type in the barcode (same code which will be scanned at the till) followed by selecting Search.
Select the product with barcode number as displayed.
Now click Add Product Item to Promotion.
Once all products have been added, select Finish.
You will now have the option to set up a Marketing SMS to inform your Loyalty cardholders of the Loyalty drive in store (Refer how to send a marketing SMS)
Once the promotion has come to an end, you will be able to view the results by selecting the yellow pencil next to the promotion.
Select View Promotion Results on the next screen.
Store Revenue and Units sold per product results will display.
Hint: Can be used to increase the stores loyalty database.
