If a customer with a Digital Gauge Instrument Panel Speedometer Cluster Upgrade reaches out stating that they are getting an error code stating:

Steering Wheel position shows as "reduce steering wheel".

This is an issue with the Clock Spring programming.

The sensor in question that has an issue is likely the steering angle sensor.

The Kit that was installed by the customer is: F-CLUFRD-R315

The vehicle information: 2017 Ford Mustang GT

The Example I am using is for a customer we have worked with.

The customer had decided to replace their steering wheel on the vehicle.

In this case, the customer reports that they've checked all of their wiring and fuses,

that they've made sure there are no issues with their wiring.

Our resolution for this is for the customer to purchase a programming service with Ford.
The customer may have unknowingly damaged the Clock Spring or made a modification

to the vehicle that changed the necessary programming.
