Resets
--Sync 3 Soft Reset
To Soft Reset your Sync 3 system; SIMULTANEOUSLY (at the same exact time) press the Scan Forward button (>>) and the CENTER power button (audio system power) and HOLD them in for a little more than 10 seconds.
--Sync 3 Master Reset
After installing a Sync 3 upgrade, you must do a Master Reset, found in General Settings, to help it configure for you vehicle. However, with vehicles with Ford Pass, in General Settings, there's only a Reset option. Upon pressing it, you'll have two "Master Reset" and "Ford Pass Reset."
DO NOT PRESS FORD PASS RESET
As it will cause you to lose your Ford Pass association to the vehicle.

Known Issues
LCD and Digitizer video problems or ghost touching - Will need replacement or repair of the screen. Worst case scenario in video related issues the APIM could be defective.
SD Card Read Error - Could be a bad map SD card or the SD card reader is having an issue. Try 91% isopropyl alcohol and the SD card to flush the receptacle. If that doesn't work, replace receptacle.
Bluetooth phone issues - Verify that the vehicle had bluetooth originally, as they may not have had a microphone if they didn't have bluetooth before.
