UAS (Uconnect 4 non-nav 8.4") Information

FCA introduced this revolutionary new 8.4-inch touchscreen radio in 2017 with the Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and Chrysler 300. Auto makers know the popularity of in-vehicle smartphone integration is on the rise. FCA designated Panasonic as their next generation infotainment supplier. These 8.4-inch systems feature Android Auto® and Apple CarPlay®. Infotainment.com has mastered the concept of installing this system into a vehicle (which didn't come equipped with this option from the factory) in an easy-to-install pre-programmed plug & play package.

Connections: Left to right:

Purple=Wifi/Phone

White=AM/FM Antenna.
​

Yellow/Curry=Sirius XM & GPS Antenna.
​

Pink=is not mapped to anything. (It routes to vehicles antennas in specific vehicles outside of the USA.)

Red=Diagnostics.

Gray=Micro USB port.
​

Black 52 pin connection=power & all other signals.

When first installing the UAQ radio in your Chrysler-based vehicle, you'll notice some features missing, such as your XM icon, correct splash screen, correct themes, heated & cooled seats and steering features, back up camera and more. This is will resolve itself, after turning off the vehicle, and letting it sleep an accumulative 48 hours. The back up camera may take the entire 48-hour period though.

Method 1:

Hold down the bottom corners of the touch screen for another way to enter dealer mode.

Method 2:

To put the system into ‘Dealer Mode’, Hold the Driver Side Temp Up and Temp Down and Front Defrost buttons down at the same time for 7-10 seconds (location of buttons may vary across vehicles). The ‘Dealer Mode’ screen should appear

If the cx reports no air flow after installing the 7-speed upgrade, please be sure the vehicle is not a 2013 RAM 1500 as they are only capable of the 4-speed modules and cannot be upgraded to the 7-speed.
