2014-2015
We do not have a solution for upgrading from the smaller screen, but if the Corvette is a 2014-2015, then it does not have the capabilities for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We offer an upgrade that replaces the factory HMI (Human Machine Interface) module, essentially the computer to the radio, and the ACM (Audio Control Module) which is the tuner for AM/FM and Sirius XM, and USB hub... and this results in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
IO5 does not have built in navigation, and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto will need to use an App like Waze, Apple Maps, or Google Maps to provide a navigation option to the radio.
IO6 does have built in navigation, which can be used outside of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2014's will not retain the drive mode features when upgrading.
2016-2019
We also offer another listing where if you're just looking to upgrade to Navigation, which Apple CarPlay and Android Auto became standard in 2016-2019 for all 8" displays in the Corvettes. However, there are some 2016 Corvettes that didn't receive an update to the radio system, and therefore only Apple CarPlay works, Android Auto was added later in a software update. It's recommended to visit a GM dealership to get the update if Android Auto doesn't exist, yet Apple CarPlay does.
