How to Exclude Companies from Advanced Search Using ABM Filters

Exclude unwanted companies in Advanced Search using manual filters or by enabling your team’s suppression list.

Updated over 2 months ago

Advanced Search gives you two ways to suppress unwanted companies and domains from your results:

Method 1: Inline Suppression (Search-Specific)

Directly exclude companies during your search using the ABM filter.

1. Type & Enter

  • Go to Advanced Search → ABM filter → Suppression

  • Type a domain (e.g., example.com) or company name.

  • Press Enter to add it.

  • Repeat for each entry.

2. Copy & Paste

  • Copy a list of domains or names from a document or sheet.

  • Paste into the suppression field.

  • Entries are added all at once — no manual typing.

3. CSV Upload

  • Click the Upload icon next to the suppression field.

  • Upload a CSV with a single column of domains or names.

  • The list is instantly applied to that search

Method 2: Apply Domain Suppressions

When you check ✅ “Apply Domain Suppressions” under the ABM filter in Advanced Search.

You activate a centralized suppression list managed via the Suppressions Page
Search → Suppressions

Once enabled, this will automatically exclude:

  • All domains and emails listed in the suppression list

  • From both Search results and Exports
