What Do I Do If A Prospect Doesn't Want To Be Contacted Again?

In this article you'll learn about our Do Not Contact list, how to add Prospects to it, and what happens after that.

From time to time you might have a Prospect that expresses they do not wish to be contacted. And you might ask yourself what is the most effective way to respect their wishes and continue to be compliant and efficient in your outreach?

Enter our Do Not Contact list!

Now Selling.com allows you to add Prospects to the Do Not Contact list directly from your Task Manager and the Prospect card. Let's review both options.

Task Manager

After hanging up with a Prospect that has asked not to be called again all you need to do is select the Call Disposition: Do Not Contact.

Here is a better look at the pop up message you will receive once you've logged that call:

Prospect Card

On the Prospect card you can select the three dots below the person's name and then scroll until you see Add to Do Not Contact.

Then a pop up message will appear so that you can select one or all of the Do Not Contact methods.

Take a Look:

Your Do Not Contact List can be found under the Outreach Tab:

On the Do Not Contact Page you can also upload an Excel sheet of people or company domains to be excluded from future call or email tasks.

Once a Prospect has been marked with Do Not Contact they will be marked as engaged and will be excluded from all future call or email tasks.

And there you go!

We hope this optimizes the way you engage with your sales pipeline and effectively align with risk compliance.
