How Do I Create A Sequence?

Ready to engage with your Prospects in a meaningful way? Our Sequences include automations to help you lead your Prospects on the right path and help you focus on what is most important—building relationships and making sales!

🔑 Note: Depending on your subscription plan, you can create Sequences with email, call, and task steps.

Create Your First Sequence

Now let's get started! Navigate to your Sequence Page by clicking on the Outreach Tab and choosing Sequences from the drop down menu. Select +Create Sequence to set up a new Sequence.

Complete the fields in the pop-up window to create your Sequence:

1. Name the Sequence.

2. Choose a Sequence Schedule. Sequence Schedules will ensure your email steps go out when you want them to.

3. Choose your Engagement Rules to determine what should happen when a Prospect engages in a Sequence. An Engaged Prospect has either replied to an email or agreed to a meeting or follow up call—this will be determined by which Call Disposition was selected.

4. Mailbox Management: no action is needed here if you're only using one mailbox. If you're using more than one mailbox you'll need to select which mailboxes you would like to assign to this Sequence or check the box next to Use All Mailboxes.

5. Your Daily Limits is the number of new tasks (emailing, calling, or tasks) that you will be assigned to you each day. Prospects/Account/Day will limit you to the indicated number of emails, calls, or tasks that can be assigned to you on a given day.

5. Open Tracking: make sure to toggle this feature on if you want to track your open rate. Click Tracking: make sure to toggle this feature on if you want to track your click rate.

🔑 Note: Some email providers perceive Click Tracking as spammy activity, which can result in your email being sent to a Prospect's junk folder. We recommend leaving this feature off unless you've emailed the person before.

Don't forget to Hit the 'Save' button when you're done!

By default the system will create your Sequence in a deactivated State. In oder to activate simply slide the toggle next to the Sequence name to the right. You'll get a message at the top of your screen and you'll see the toggle shows as blue after a successful activation!
