How Can I Add A Prospect To A Specific Step In My Sequence?

In this article, you will learn how to assign a Prospect to a specific Step in your Sequence.

If you want to begin engaging with your Prospects from a specific Step in your Sequence, you now have the flexibility to add them directly to that Step. This feature is especially useful when you want to skip the initial outreach steps and move the Prospect further along in your workflow.

๐Ÿ”‘ Note: you can perform this action from many starting points such as creating Prospects from a Search, uploading Prospects from a CSV file, using our free extension, or from your list of existing Prospects on your Prospect Page.

Let's review how you can add a Prospect to a particular Step when assigning them to a Sequence.

From The Prospect Page

  1. Use the filters on the left to find your Prospect.

  2. Check the box next to their name.

  3. Click +Add to Sequence.

  4. Choose the Sequence.

  5. Select the Step where you want the Prospect to start.

  6. Pick a start date.

  7. Click Add.

From The Search Page

  1. After narrowing down your search select +Add to Sequence

  2. Select the Step you want in the Add to Sequence section

  3. Select Export

While Uploading Prospects Via CSV Import

  1. Select +Create Prospects

  2. At the bottom of the pop-up window choose the Sequence and Step you want to prospects to start on

  3. Select Upload CSV of Prospects

From the Extension

  1. Identify the contact you want to engage with

  2. Select +Add to Sequence

  3. Choose the Step in the Add to Sequence section

  4. Click Export

By allowing you to start Prospects at the exact Step that aligns with their current stage in your sales process, this feature gives you greater control and customization in your outreach.
