How Do I Leverage Funding Data Using The Signal Filter?

In this article you'll learn how to leverage the Funding Data on our Advanced Search Page.

Updated this week

Leveraging funding data can be valuable for sales and marketing teams to help identify potential prospects who have recently secured funding, indicating a higher likelihood of investment in new products or services. This data provides valuable insights for targeted outreach, allowing teams to tailor their messaging and positioning to align with the specific needs and growth opportunities of these organizations.

To get started, you will need to navigate to our Advanced Search Page and open the Signals Filter. In the Signal Type section search for Funding.

Now, lets review the two ways you can use our Funding filter:

Search by Funding Amount ($M)

Find companies that have received a range of funding amounts at some point in time.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Try using the Funding Amount filter in combination with the Max # of Days Since Signal to refine you search results. This will allow you to find companies who have received X amount in funding within the last, for example, 90 days.

Search by Funding Round

Identify companies who are currently, or have been through a particular round of funding.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Try combining the Funding Round filter with Max # of Days Since Signal to refine you search results. This will give you a list of companies that are in the selected Funding Round within your chosen time period.

Want to view funding data for a specific company? Follow these easy steps:

  1. Search the company

  2. Select Signals

  3. Filter by Funding

  4. Select Apply

In short, using funding data helps teams target prospects more effectively by focusing on companies with the resources and potential for new investments.
