Our Sequences include four Daily Limits—Emails per Day per Mailbox, Calls per Day, Tasks per Day, and Prospects per Account per Day. These limits can be adjusted to match your capacity and campaign goals, both when you first create the Sequence and while it continues to run.
Think you can handle 100 calls a day but realize you can only manage 75 effectively? Simply open your Sequence, click the Edit icon, and update your Calls per Day limit to 75, then hit Save. Prospects already assigned to a Call Step will stay where they are, and the new limit will take effect the following day.
Setting your Daily Sequence Limits is simple. Let’s review each limit along with best practices to help guide your campaign strategy.
Daily Sequence Limits
Emails/Day/Mailbox: If you’re starting your first campaign with Email Steps, set this limit to 20–25 emails per day. Each week, increase it by 5 until you reach the maximum of 100. Starting slow helps ensure your emails land in the Prospect’s inbox and aren’t flagged as spam. Read this article for other helpful emailing practices.
Calls/Day: Set this limit to the number of Calls you know you can complete in a day. For example, if your goal is 500 calls a week and you plan to call every day, set the limit to 100.
Tasks/Day: Set this limit to the number of Tasks you can realistically complete in a day. For example, if you want reminders to send 30 LinkedIn connection requests, set the limit to 30. Since tasks can be anything, consider how much time each activity takes and plan accordingly.
Prospects/Account/Day: This limit caps the number of Emails, Calls, or Tasks you can complete for Prospects at the same company in a single day. For example, if you’re working with 3 Prospects at one company but only want to contact 1 per day, set the limit to 1. This spreads outreach across days and makes communication feel more natural and personal.
Lastly, your pending tasks will be reviewed every 10 minutes and added to Task Manager whenever they become due. Also, because of your Daily Sequence Limits, you will only see as many tasks in the Task Manager as you can complete in a day helping you maintain consistency.
Daily Sequence Limits help you balance outreach volume with deliverability, consistency, and realistic workload. By setting the right limits, you’ll keep campaigns running smoothly, avoid spam detection, and ensure your communication feels personal and manageable.
