Sometimes during a conversation, a Prospect may ask you to follow up—whether it’s giving them a call, sending an email, or checking back in—on a specific future date. To make sure these opportunities don’t get lost in the shuffle, you can create a Single Task. In this article, we’ll walk through what Single Tasks are, how to set one up for a follow-up, and the steps to complete that task when it’s due, helping you stay organized and responsive in your prospecting efforts.
Creating a Single Task
Follow these quick steps to create your first Single Task:
Click the Clipboard icon located below the Prospect’s name.
In the large text box, enter your follow-up reminder.
Select the Date you want the follow-up task to be completed.
Click Save.
Complete a Single Task
On the due date your single task will pop up in your Task Manager where you can complete the task.
💡Tip: In the Task manager you can filter by the Task Type 'Task' to find your Single tasks quickly.
In conclusion, creating Single Tasks allows you to organize and manage your follow-ups, ensuring that no important outreach slips through the cracks. By scheduling these tasks, you can stay on top of your pipeline, maintain consistent communication with prospects, and free up mental space to focus on other high-value prospecting activities throughout your day.
