ReviewsPro needs your Shopify store connected to import reviews, send review requests and show widgets on your store. If you installed from the Shopify App Store, your store is already connected.
Connect your store
Click Connect Shopify Store on Home, or Connect store at the top of the left menu.
Enter your store address, for example your-store.myshopify.com. Your store’s own domain works too. You can find it in Shopify admin → Settings → Domains.
Click Connect Shopify Store and approve ReviewsPro in Shopify.
You come back to ReviewsPro with your store connected.
What ReviewsPro can see
Products: to show reviews on the right product pages.
Orders: to know who to ask for a review, and when.
Customer names and emails: to send review requests.
Your theme: to add widgets, only when you publish them.
More than one store
Click the store name at the top of the left menu to switch stores, or choose Connect another store. The Unicorn plan includes up to 5 stores.
If something goes wrong
Message | What to do |
We couldn’t find a Shopify store at… | Check the address in Shopify admin → Settings → Domains and try again. |
This store is already connected | The store is linked to another ReviewsPro account. Sign in with that account, or ask its owner to add you. |
You didn’t approve ReviewsPro | The approval in Shopify was cancelled. Click Connect Shopify Store again when you’re ready. |
We couldn’t finish connecting | Shopify didn’t respond in time, or permissions are missing. Click Try again, or Re-approve permissions if ReviewsPro can’t read your products or theme. |
If your theme can’t be read, the app was usually approved by a staff account without theme access. Ask the store owner to approve it.
