A CSV import moves reviews from any platform with a spreadsheet. Go to Import → CSV upload.
1. Prepare your file
Click Download template for a ready-made file, or use your own CSV. The first row must have column names, with one review per row.
Column | Required? | Notes |
Product handle or SKU | Required | Tells ReviewsPro which product the review belongs to |
Rating | Required | A whole number from 1 to 5 |
Review text | Required | The body of the review |
Reviewer name | Optional | Shown with the review |
Date | Optional | When the review was written |
Photo URLs | Optional | Separate several links with spaces |
Optional | Marks the review as a verified buyer |
Files can be up to 20 MB and 50,000 rows, saved as UTF-8. Larger files? Split them and import them one after another. In Excel or Google Sheets, choose File → Download → CSV.
2. Upload and match your columns
Drag your file in, or click to choose it. ReviewsPro matches your columns automatically. Check each one under Import as, or choose Don’t import for columns you don’t need. Columns you don’t map are ignored.
3. Review and import
ReviewsPro checks every row and shows how many are ready, how many need attention, and how many will be skipped as duplicates.
Fix rows in place: choose a product for a handle that isn’t in your store, round a rating, or skip the row. Download error report gives you a list of problem rows.
Under Import settings, choose Publish 4★ and 5★, hold others for review, Publish all or Hold all for review, and whether reviews with an email are marked as verified buyers.
Click Import. Rows that still have problems are skipped.
You can undo the import for 30 days from Import → Import history.
