How do I choose which reviews are published automatically?

Setting auto-publish rules, holding reviews with links or profanity, the AI spam filter, blocked words and low-rating alerts in ReviewsPro.

You decide which reviews go live on their own and which wait for you. Go to Settings → Moderation.

The Moderation settings page with publishing rules, moderation options and blocked words

Publishing rules

  • Auto-publish reviews: choose 4★ and above, 5★ only, All reviews or Never — moderate all. Reviews below your choice wait in the Pending tab.

  • Hold reviews that contain links: most spam includes links.

  • Hold reviews with profanity: if you publish one anyway, the words are replaced with •••.

  • AI spam & fake-review filter: flags suspicious reviews before they go live.

Moderation

  • Alert me about 1–2★ reviews: get an email and an in-app notification within 5 minutes, so you can reply quickly.

  • Auto-tag sentiment and topics: powers filters, AI summaries and analytics.

  • Require email to leave a review: reduces spam. Verified buyers are marked automatically.

Blocked words

Add words or phrases under Blocked words. Reviews containing them are held for you to check.

Held reviews appear in Reviews → Manage reviews under Pending, where you can publish or hide them.

Tip: publishing only positive reviews can make shoppers trust them less. Many stores publish 4★ and above automatically and check the rest by hand.
