💥 Improvements 💥

1. Copying patient identification shortcut

You can now quickly copy just the patient ID from the patient demographic information that appears at the top of a patient chart to paste it elsewhere, such as into a form or patient label.

In the demographics header, click the patient identification. This is copied to your clipboard. Then, paste it where you need it using Ctrl{Cmd}+V on your keyboard.

2. CHR Version number

You can now see the up to date Collaborative Health Record (CHR) version number by clicking on your profile icon.

3. Configuring your default Service Location Code (Dr. Bill, BC)

In British Columbia, you can now select a default service location code (SLC) for your clinic, when integrated with Dr. Bill. We encourage all of our BC clients using Dr. Bill to set a default SLC for their location. For more information, see Configuring your default service location code (Dr. Bill).

🐛 ⚒️ Bug Fixes 🐛 ⚒️

We have identified and fixed some Pathways / Virtual Visits 2.0 bugs in this release. For more information, contact our TELUS Health support team.

  • Previously, when a patient accepted an audio-only virtual visit and muted themselves, the call automatically ended after a few seconds. This has been fixed. Patients can now mute themselves without being disconnected from their virtual visit.

  • From now on, it does not matter if you add a space after a patient’s surname in the demographics section of their chart by accident. The surname that patients add when connecting to virtual visits will match the one in the patient chart (with or without spaces).

  • When assigning a task (patient task) to a patient during a virtual visit, they could see that tasks were assigned to them but were unable to view the specific tasks in their task tab. This bug has been fixed. Patients can now see all tasks assigned to them in their virtual visits screen, under the tasks tab.

  • When assigning a Qnaire to the patient as a pathways post action, it was not sent to the patient. Similarly, when sending a message as a post action, the message was also not sent to the patient. These have been fixed.

🔥 What's new in CHR Help 🔥

Here’s what we recently added to the CHR help (help.inputhealth.com):

  • You can conduct virtual visits and live chats with your patients directly from within the TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR). At the time of the appointment, open the chart and start the virtual visit with the patient. While you consult with your patient, you can document the visit in the chart as per normal, assign tasks to staff and patients and have chat message conversations. For more details on virtual visits within the CHR, go to the Virtual Visits section of our CHR help.

  • The CHR includes a comprehensive and highly configurable referral feature. Learn all about how to manage incoming and outgoing referrals and referral settings, in the Referrals section of our help.

  • You might want to standardise/ template more of your letters in your CHR. Letters can auto populate with relevant patient, appointment and provider information, reducing time spent on documentation. Check out the Templates section of the CHR help.

  • We are augmenting our CHR training videos on a weekly basis. Check out our new collection of prescription and medication videos.
