At Inquisitive we know how busy teachers are. We save teachers hours every week with world-leading lessons and planning tools.

You can browse the Inquisitive homepage by topic, to access our curriculum-aligned lessons or search our stimulus library for high-quality interactives, eBooks, videos, maps and more.

Create a Class

Create your first class by selecting the grade, curriculum and subjects that you teach. This will filter lessons to those most suitable for you. You have the option to create multiple classes if required.

Our Lessons

Inquisitive lessons incorporate highly-engaging material and have everything you need to teach in one place. Each lesson includes lesson pages, full of rich and purposeful questions and learning activities.

Lessons are designed to give you flexibility, with the option to teach a lesson as it is, or as a base for adapting your own program. You don’t have to complete a lesson in a single session and the timings are just a guide, so don’t worry if it takes you more or less time.

Stimulus Resources

Each lesson contains engaging, Inquisitive stimulus materials: videos, eBooks, interactives, songs, maps and more. These have either been created by the Inquisitive team, or licensed from reputable sources.

You can also browse our stimulus library separately.

Differentiation

The questions in every lesson are differentiated as a green circle, blue square or black diamond, progressing from core to deeper learning to more challenging activities. This inbuilt differentiation allows you to use our lesson materials flexibly, to meet every student’s needs.

Student Responses

Student Responses is an exciting new feature that provides teachers with immediate visibility into student learning and enhances class participation and engagement.

Available in our new digital slide lessons (not PDFs), this feature allows students to access, save and share their work directly within a lesson.

With Student Responses, you can:

  • Check for understanding and provide feedback in real-time

  • Save and download work samples and data for reporting

  • Easily assign and review student work

  • Enable students to share, present and discuss their thinking

  • Reduce the need for printing

Everyone can enjoy free early access to the new student response features.

Teaching Notes

Each lesson has teaching notes, with a detailed Teaching and Learning sequence, and curriculum outcomes.
