How to reset or enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

Enabling 2FA

Updated over 2 weeks ago

To enable two-factor authentication on your account:

  1. Log in and go to Settings > Security.

  2. Click Enable two-factor authentication.

  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password).

  4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm, then save your backup codes in a safe place.

Resetting 2FA if you have lost access

If you can no longer access your authenticator app:

  1. On the login page, click Lost access to your 2FA device?

  2. Enter one of the backup codes you saved when you first set up 2FA.

  3. Once logged in, go to Settings > Security and re-configure 2FA with your new device.

If you have also lost your backup codes, contact our support team with your registered email address and a valid photo ID. We will verify your identity and disable 2FA so you can set it up again.
