How does Rise.ai integrate with Shopify's New Customer Accounts
Rise.ai is seamlessly integrated with Shopify's new customer accounts, and a dedicated extension can be implemented in your store. Within this extension, your customers will be able to find the following options:
View their wallet's (store credit) outstanding balance.
View their wallet's (store credit) code.
View their wallet's (store credit) transaction.
Use a QR code to have the code scanned by your Shopify POS
This article instructs you on how to add one or both of the suggested features:
Wallet Page: a page where your customer will see their wallet's outstanding balance, code, and past transactions. It also consists of a QR code that can be scanned by the cashier for a quick redemption in-store.
If you're selling Rise.ai gift cards, at the bottom of this module, a customer will also see any gift card assigned to their account's email address.
Wallet Banner: a banner that's placed at the top of the Orders page, shows how much store credit the customer has in their wallet, and links to the wallet page.
How to ensure your store is set up with Shopify's new customer accounts
Shopify's new customer accounts system (now referred to as customer accounts) was released as a replacement for their legacy customer accounts. This article refers to an extension that's only available with their new customer accounts.
You can activate it (or just verify it's active) by entering your Shopify Admin, navigating to Settings → Customer accounts. There, you should see 'Customer accounts' as the active option:
