How to set up and customize your Reward Program Page

Use the Rise 'Rewards Page' to maximize your customers' exposure to your Loyalty Program.

What is the Reward Program Page

The Reward Program Page serves as an alternative to the Reward Program Widget, offering a dedicated space to promote and explain your loyalty program to customers. Since clear communication is key to the success of any rewards program, this page can be a powerful tool to help customers understand the benefits you've set up with Rise.



How to activate the Reward Program page

To set up the Reward Program page, please follow the steps below:

  1. In your Rise dashboard, go to the On Site Assets section.

  2. Under Store Credit, find the Rewards Program Page.

  3. Click Create to begin the setup process.

When you click the Create button, a new dedicated page will be generated in your Shopify store to display your rewards program.



How to edit the location of the Rewards Program Page

To change where the Rewards Program Page appears in your storefront, please follow the steps below:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

  2. Click on the three dots next to the Customize button > Click on Edit code


  3. In the code editor, click Add a new template from the left-hand sidebar.

  4. Under Template type, select Page, choose liquid (not JSON), and give the file a name you’ll recognize later (e.g. rewards-page).

  5. In the new template file, paste the following line: {{page.content}}


  6. Save the file and return to your Shopify admin.

  7. Go to Online Store > Pages and select the Rewards Program Page.

  8. Under the Template section, select the template you just created from the dropdown.

  9. Click Save and exit.

If you’d like to hide the Rewards Page from your customers, simply set the page visibility to Hidden in your Shopify admin.

Please do not edit the content of the page directly in Shopify, as this may prevent the Rewards Page from functioning as expected.


How to customize the Rewards Program Page

All content and design customizations for the Rewards Program Page must be done through the editor in the Rise dashboard. Below is an overview of the editor’s features and how to use them.

Editor Overview:

  • Body: This is where you structure the layout of the page. You can divide it into sections to create a clear, easy-to-follow experience.

  • Template: Adjust the overall design, including font type, text color, and size, across the entire page.

  • Visitor: Toggle between “Member” and “Visitor” views to preview how the page looks when a customer is logged in versus not logged in.

  • Display: View how the page appears on Mobile, Desktop, or Full-screen.

  • See Page: Open a live preview of the page in a new tab.

  • Save: Always click Save before exiting to ensure your changes are applied.

Page structure – Body (Sections)

The Body tab is where you build and structure your Rewards Page. It’s made up of sections, which allow you to break the page into clear, easy-to-understand blocks of content for your customers.

You can reorder any of these sections by dragging them using the icon on the right.

If you'd like to add more section, click Add section at the bottom. You’ll then be able to choose from three section types:

  1. General section - A flexible section where you can freely add elements like text, buttons, images, and more.

  2. Dynamic section: Similar to the General section, but with the added ability to show different content based on whether the customer is logged in or not. This allows you to tailor the experience for members vs. visitors by displaying different elements depending on their login status.

3. Referral section: A section specifically designed for referral content and features.


Each section includes two tabs:

  1. Content: In the Content tab, you can manage and customize what appears in each section by adding elements from the element library. These elements are the building blocks of your Rewards Page and allow you to display key information to your customers.


    In the General and Dynamic general sections, you can choose from the following elements:


    – Paragraph
    – Button
    – Headline
    – Steps
    – FAQ
    – Image
    – Spacer

    Each element includes a variety of design and functionality options to help you tailor it to your store’s style and needs. To reorder elements within a section, simply drag and drop them using the handle on the right.

    To remove an element, click on it and select Remove element.

2. Settings: In the Settings tab of each section, you can control the layout and design rules for that entire section. Any changes made here will apply to all the elements within the section, helping you keep a consistent look and feel throughout the page.

Page structure – Template

The Template tab lets you apply styling to the entire Rewards Page, helping you keep a consistent design. You can set both a primary and secondary color, and then apply those styles to elements across the page to match your store’s branding.

We recommend choosing two color schemes based on your store’s existing palette. You can then switch between the Primary and Secondary styles when designing sections to keep the page aligned with your store’s branding.
