The Reward Program Widget
The Reward Program Widget appears on most pages of your website and serves as the main entry point for customers to engage with your loyalty program. Through the widget, customers can view current promotions, check their loyalty balance, and access their store credit code.
How to activate the Reward Program Widget
To activate the widget, follow these steps:
In your Rise dashboard, go to the On Site Assets tab.
Under Store Credit, find the Reward Program Widget box.
Click Customize & Preview to begin setup.
How to Customize the Reward Program Widget
After clicking Customize & Preview, you’ll be redirected to the customization page for the widget.
Here, you can adjust the widget’s text, design, and layout to match your store’s branding and customer experience.
Body tab
In this tab, you can customize the appearance and text of the various cards that appear in the widget.
Please note: each section has two views, Member and Visitor. You’ll need to customize both, as they display differently depending on whether the customer is signed in.
Header - you can edit the widget’s title and subtitle to match your brand tone.
Cards - Select which cards appear in the widget based on the loyalty features you've activated in your store.
For each card, you can choose to hide it and not present it in your widget, by clicking on the visibility toggle.
The available cards include:
Account - Displays the customer’s loyalty balance and store credit code. If the customer is not logged in, the card will prompt them to sign in or register.
Referral Card - Highlights your referral program. Customers can copy and share their unique referral link directly from the widget.
Rewards - Lets you showcase rewards available through your loyalty workflows. You can customize the text, colors, and icons, and add as many items as needed.
In some fields, you can add dynamic placeholders such as referral_link, customer_name, and store_credit_code. These variables are available in the variable box at the bottom of each section. Simply copy the desired variable and paste it into the field where you'd like it to appear.
Template tab
In this tab, you can control the overall appearance and behavior of the widget:
Theme: Customize the widget’s colors that appear once it’s opened.
Placement: Choose where the floating widget appears on your storefront.
White label: Remove the Rise logo from the widget (available on the Pro plan and above).
Launcher: Adjust the launcher’s icon, background color, and text.
Reset to default: Restore all settings in both the Body and Template tabs to their default state.
How to Implement the Reward Program Widget
Once you're done customizing the widget, make sure to save your changes. Then, publish the widget by turning on the toggle in the top right corner. The widget will automatically appear on your site once it’s activated.
