This guide will guide you on processing orders for items with "Others" as their suppliers. All products that unconventional suppliers sell are moved under "Other" as the supplier, so you can still send orders through Invedent if you choose to.
Important Notes
Please remember that if you process the order as an "Email Order", you can only send orders for one supplier ordering email at a time. With this, you can only add the items sold per one supplier to the Cart, so please make sure that you review and update the ordering email before sending any orders.
Understanding the 'Other' Supplier
All products that are sold by suppliers that are not available in Invedent are intentionally grouped into one supplier called "Other". This allows our users to still have the items they source from local suppliers or non-conventional products added to their inventory for the purpose of tracking.
Step-by-Step Guide
Add Items to Cart
Add items to your Cart as usual; remember to add only the items the same supplier sells.
You may filter the supplier to "Other" on the Shop or your inventory to refine the list to all the items mapped to "Other" as a supplier.
You can manually enter the prices before sending the order or wait until you receive the orders and add the pricing while reconciling the items.
Proceed to Checkout
Once you have all the items you want to order, click on the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page. This will pull up the checkout card. Choose how you want to process the order:
Manual Order
You have placed these orders directly on the supplier website or over the phone with your rep but would like to track the order through Invedent.
Email Order
Send the order from your Invedent account directly to your supplier's or rep's ordering email. Make sure to review and update the ordering email before sending orders.
After confirming the order process you prefer, click on the "Complete" button at the bottom of the page to finish the ordering process.
Track and Manage Orders in the Order Dashboard
You can track your order as usual through the Order Dashboard.
