This resource is designed to help you keep stock levels current and ensure prompt ordering of essential items. By optimising your setups, you'll streamline the tracking of low-stock items, enhance team communication on ordering priorities, and automate restocking processes.
Updating Stock Location, Min/Max Quantities, Preferred Supplier or Stock Level
Pull up the item card by clicking on the product name to update the information of an item:
Minimum and Maximum Values
Setting the minimum and maximum value allows that app to automate flagging all items that are low in stock to "Reorder". When an item's stock level goes below the set minimum, the system will update the item's inventory status to "Reoder" allowing you to filter it when you create your next order.
Preferred Supplier
Set the preferred supplier for each item to designate your preferred ordering source. Doing so ensures that when you add an item to your Cart, it will automatically be included in your favourite supplier's Cart.
Stock Level
Update or correct an item stock level using the counter on each of the item.
Stock Location
If you have set up your sticker locations and have created stock locations on the app, you can update the stock location of an item anytime from the inventory. If you have not set up your stock management yet, please contact our support team to assist you with setting it up.
Notes
You may add notes to items to include other information you want the team to know about an item (i.e. an item that's nearly expired, an item that is soon to be discontinued etc.).
Updating Item Statuses
Reorder
This status is automatically set when the current stock on hand quantity is below the set minimum of the item. When an item is tagged as "Reorder", the item will be included in the list of "Need to Order" items.
Urgent
This status will communicate to your teammates of which stock needs to be ordered urgently. This status can be set and removed anytime as necessary.
Standby
For items you still want to keep in your Inventory for tracking but are not something you will be ordering in the next six months, you may put them on 'Standby' mode. When an item is flagged as 'Standby', the item will stay in your inventory but won't be tagged as "Reoder" no matter how low the stock on hand quantity is.
No Status
This is a default status of items which indicates that no action is necessary for the item. When a "Reoder" item has been sent out for order, the item status will default to "No Status" to ensure you do not double order on the same item.
Remove Items from the Inventory
You may remove any items from your Inventory by turning off the 'Item Tracking' toggle on the upper left-hand side of the item card. When an item is removed, all the saved information, such as stock location, Min/Max values, stock level, and notes, will be deleted.
