Before going live, all merchants are encouraged to test their integration using Inverite's sandbox environment. The sandbox mirrors production behaviour without processing real bank data.

Sandbox Login Credentials

To simulate a successful IBV flow in the sandbox, use the following credentials at the test bank login screen:

• Username: success

• Password: success

This will simulate a successful bank login and allow you to test the complete IBV flow end-to-end, including data retrieval and webhook delivery.

What You Can Test in the Sandbox

• Full IBV session flow (bank selection → login → account selection → data retrieval)

• Webhook delivery and payload structure

• API authentication and request/response formats

• Error handling for denied or forbidden responses

Important Notes

• Sandbox and production use separate API keys and endpoints. Never mix credentials between environments.

• If you encounter errors after switching from sandbox to production, verify that you have updated both your API key and endpoint URL.

• For local development and webhook testing, use a tunneling tool such as ngrok to expose your local endpoint, or test payloads at webhook.site.
