Why Verify Your Deal
Verifying a deal on Investorlift adds a Verified badge to your listing - a clear trust signal to buyers that you have the property under contract. Verified deals typically see:
More offers — buyers move faster on listings they know are real.
Fewer "is this real?" inquiries — the badge answers the question before the buyer has to ask.
Better visibility on the marketplace — verified deals stand out among similar listings.
💡 Verification is optional, but recommended on every deal you publish - it's a one-time step per listing and pays back in offer volume.
Before You Start
Have these ready:
A signed purchase contract (or equivalent document) showing you have the property under contract.
The name of the contracting company (the entity on the contract).
Admin access to your Investorlift account - only Administrators can initiate verification.
🔒 Your contract will not be shared with buyers. Documents are uploaded solely for the purpose of verifying the property on Investorlift.
Step 1: Initiate Verification After Publishing
After publishing a property, you'll be prompted to verify your deal. This step confirms that you have the property under contract and unlocks the Verified badge on your listing.
You can also start verification on an existing deal at any time:
Go to your Deals Board in Admin.
Open the property you want to verify.
Click the Verify button on the deal card.
👉🏼 Verification is optional during the initial phase. You can complete it whenever you're ready.
Step 2: Upload Documents and Select Contracting Company
In the verification window, you'll need to:
Upload documents that confirm you have the property under contract.
Select the contracting company from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Automated Review
Once you submit, Investorlift's system automatically reviews the contract details and confirms whether the deal passes or fails verification.
Verification typically completes within a few minutes. While it's in progress, you'll see a "Verifying" status on the property card in Admin. Once complete, the result is displayed on the listing.
If Verification Fails
If your deal does not pass verification, the most common reasons are:
The uploaded document is not a signed contract. A listing agreement, MLS sheet, or PDF photo without signatures will not pass.
The contracting company name does not match the document. Make sure the dropdown selection matches the entity on the signed contract.
The property address on the contract does not match the listing. Both must match exactly.
The document is unreadable. Re-upload a clearer scan or PDF.
Fix the issue and click Verify again to retry. If you're stuck, contact our Support Team via the blue bubble in your Admin account.
After Verification
The Verified badge appears on your listing and on the property card buyers see.
You don't need to re-verify the same deal - verification is per listing.
If you take a deal offline and republish it, you'll need to verify again on the new listing.
