Updated over a month ago

Prerequisites: Ensure your computer is connected to the same network as the Indabox Pro-S.

To access the login page of the Indabox Pro-S web configuration interface, enter the IP address of your Indabox in the address bar of your preferred browser, using the format: https://[IP address]:5001.

You will then be directed to the login page.

First Login

By default, the Indabox Pro-S web configuration interface has a fixed IP address : 192.168.1.222.

For your first connection to the interface, open a web browser and enter the following complete URL into the address bar: https://192.168.1.222:5001

Note : This IP address can be changed (refer to the "Network configuration" article).

On the first login to the application, please use the following credentials :

  • Username : Admin

  • Password : P@ssw0rd

Upon logging in, you'll be automatically redirected to the password change page.

Enter your current password (used for login) and then a new password.

Once done, click "Save".

If the password is valid (refer to the password rules section), you will be redirected back to the login screen, where you can log in with your new password.

Password Rules

Password Creation and Complexity

Password selection and entry are subject to various requirements.

First, the minimum accepted password length is 15 characters.

Then, passwords must include:

  • At least one uppercase letter.

  • At least one lowercase letter.

  • At least one number.

  • At least one special character

In case of a non-compliant password, an error message will appear :

Password Validity Period

Passwords must be changed regularly. After 90 days, the password is considered expired.

When a user attempts to log in to the interface with an expired password, they are redirected to the password editing page to change it.

They must then change their password and log in again using the new password.

Password Entry

For security reasons, password entry is masked, whether on the login screen or during password editing.

You can view the entered password by clicking on the eye-shaped icon shown below :

If the entered username/password combination is incorrect, the following message is returned :

Note : The number of remaining attempts before account lockout is also mentioned.

Password History

For security reasons, a history of the last 10 passwords used by the user is kept. This means that a password cannot be reused as long as it is in this history. This measure is intended to prevent repeated use of the same passwords over a short period.

If you attempt to use a password already present in the history, an error message will be displayed :

Account Lockout and Security

Login Attempt Limit

The user has three authentication attempts to log in to the interface.

When the entered "username/password" combination is incorrect, the following error message appears :

The message indicates the number of remaining attempts.

After three unsuccessful attempts, the account is temporarily blocked for five minutes.

Note : An administrator can unlock the account before the five minutes have elapsed by resetting the user's password.

After these five minutes, the user can try to log in again.

They then have two new attempts. If they enter an incorrect password, their account is permanently blocked. They will then have to contact an administrator to unlock it.

To unlock a blocked account, the administrator must reset the user's password.

Automatic Logout

If no activity is detected on the configuration web page for a certain period (5 minutes), an automatic logout popup will appear.

If the user clicks on "Stay logged in" during the allotted time, the session remains open.

If there is no response, the user is logged out and redirected to the login page.
