Prerequisite : This feature is available exclusively to users with the ViewCreator role.
You can now enrich your supervision views with real-time updating charts from Indaba Explorer.
Adding a Chart to a view
Log in to Io-base and open Indaview Creator.
Go to the page where you want to add a chart.
In the toolbar, navigate to the Drawing section and select Charts.
Click anywhere on the page to insert the chart component, then resize it according to your needs.
Double-click on the chart component to open the configuration window.
Configuring Charts
Start by adding the desired charts to your graphic.
Click on the Chart List field, then on the "..." button.
A new window will appear :
Click Add to insert a chart into your graphic.
On the left side of the window, you can configure the chart settings.
Specify :
the metric you wish to use by clicking the Metric field and then the "..." button.
A window will open, allowing you to select the desired metric.
To add a metric, select the corresponding row and click on "Validate".
Your metric will now appear in the settings window.
Chart Color : Choose from a dropdown list to set the color of your chart.
Line Thickness : Adjust the thickness of the chart line.
Interpolation : Set to true for smooth curves or false for a step-like display.
Line Style : Choose between solid, dashed, or other styles.
Unit : Define the unit for your data.
Once these fields are configured, your chart is ready.
Click OK to save the settings or add additional charts by using the Add button.
Defining the Time Interval
Specify the time interval to be displayed on your chart.
Select the desired period in the Interval field (Minute/Hour/Day/Month/Year).
Enter the Quantity parameter to indicate the number of periods to display.
For example, selecting Month and entering 3 will display data for the last three months.
Customizing the Chart Design
To further customize your chart, several additional settings are available :
Chart Title: This field allows you to specify a title for your chart.
Hide Legend: This option simplifies the chart's display by removing the legend. To activate it, select "true."
Hide Axes: Enabling this option hides the axes of the chart. To activate it, select "true."
Note: When you choose to hide the axes, the chart title is also hidden.
Dark Mode: Applies a dark theme to the chart. To enable dark mode, select "true."
Viewing Charts in Indaview
Redirection to Indaba Explorer
Regardless of the display configuration, clicking on a chart in Indaview will automatically redirect you to Indaba Explorer with the same parameters applied.

Navigating Through History
You can also use the synoptic history navigation to view the chart values at a specific moment in time.
