In Io-base, you can configure multiple units for the same metric (source, target 1, and target 2), as detailed in the configuration article.
Once this step is completed, each user can define their own display preference. This is known as the "unit profile": a personal setting that determines which unit will be used by default across the entire account for optimal readability.
To choose your unit profile, navigate to your user profile editing menu.
In the "Preferences" section, a dropdown list allows you to select the unit profile you wish to apply to your account.
For example, if you select "Target Unit 1," all metrics will be displayed by default with their target unit 1 (provided it has been configured).
Using the example of the previously configured metric, whose target unit 1 is "ft":
This unit will then be the one displayed by default in all Io-base application screens where this metric appears.
If you modify your profile again to select "Target Unit 2," the default displayed unit will then become "dm".
