General Overview

The IndaGate application allows you to collect data from your industrial equipment and send it to a cloud platform (Io-base) where it can be stored and utilized.

Unlike the Indabox, it does not require any specialized hardware. Instead, it is a straightforward application package that is easy to deploy and can be operated directly on your machines.

Accessing IndaGate

Contact your administrator to receive the IndaGate application package. Then, store it on a computer connected to the local network.

Open the folder.

Note : By default, the folder will be named IndaGate, but you have the option to rename it as desired.

A set of files and folders will be stored in it.

To launch IndaGate, click on the application highlighted below :

The executable will start:

By default, the CloudUploader and PlcReader services will start:

  • PlcReader : the process that retrieves data from the equipment.

  • CloudUploader : the process that sends data to a cloud platform.

Note : You can configure the application's settings using the 'IndaGateConfig.json' file. For detailed instructions, refer to the articles on configuration and redundancy mode.

Accessing the Web Configuration Interface

To access the IndaGate web configuration interface, enter "localhost:5000" in a browser :

The web configuration interface is identical as the one used for the Indabox. For each feature, refer to the articles below :

Note : In the general settings, select 'IO-base' as the data destination.

Note : The MQTT, ClientBox and FTP services are not available.

Note : Some elements of the Indabox configuration interface are not available in the IndaGate interface. Such as the network configuration or the date and time configuration.
