What is a representative?
A representative is a person or company that represents you in dealings with the tax office.
The representative is authorized to receive notifications, requirements, and decisions from the tax office. This includes, in particular, assessment notices or inquiries from the tax office.
This means that communication usually takes place directly through the representative.
iqtax as your representative
With iqtax Protection, you can use iqtax as your tax representative.
In this case, we will handle communication with the tax office after you have submitted your tax return. We will check the assessment and inform you if there are any discrepancies or queries.
You will of course be kept informed at all times, but we will take care of the formalities and the review.
Example
The tax authorities do not accept the deductions in your tax return and calculate additional income. These calculations are shown in the assessment notice and you have 30 days to raise an objection. As your tax representative, we receive the assessment notice, review it, and provide our qualified assessment of the facts, including a recommendation for action. iqtax will inform you directly about how to proceed.
How to add it in iqtax
Before you submit your tax return, you can select and pay for the additional iqtax Protection service in the “review and submission” section.
