Once you've been awarded a badge for your course you'll be notified via email and in-app notification. You can then choose to share it and showcase your achievements.
Tip: You can also request an endorsement from someone who has seen your skills/work for this badge to add further support/evidence for your skills and knowledge.
There are a few ways you can share your badges. In this article, we'll cover one of the more popular ways (via Linkedin) but anywhere you can share a URL, you can share your badge.
How to find your badge and badge URL
You can view badges associated with your course on your course Overview.
Use Copy URL and share the URL for your badge anywhere you'd like!
Tip: Anyone who follows the URL will see the same info you see when you choose View badge.
How to share your badge on your LinkedIn profile
You can share your badges under the Licenses & Certifications section on your LinkedIn profile. If you haven't already got things under this section, you can add it to your Profile by selecting the + next to Licences & Certifications as shown below.
Next add in the detail of your badge.
Add in your badge name under Name.
Search and select the name or your organisation in Issuing Organization.
Enter in any details about the dates your badge is valid for or check the box if your certification doesn't expire.
Copy and paste your badge URL in Credential URL (head to your course's Overview and select Copy URL beneath the badge).
Save to update your profile with your new badge certification.
People can select See certificate on your profile to view your digital badge and the further information attached to the badge (i.e. the criteria for gaining the badge or any endorsements you have associated with it).
