As a learner you can add your own private notes to your course or add a "discuss this" note to share with others in your course.

Flicking through the pages in your course you'll see a wee notes icon on the bottom right of each bit of content on the page - A section of text, video, image, task etc.

Here is where you can add to Your notes (private and only seen by you) or Discuss this which lets you add a note to share with others in your course.

Your notes

You can put any plain text into a note. In Your notes, you can add tags so you can easily search your notes later.

All your notes for the course are collected together under the Notes section in the menu.

Discuss this

When you add a Discuss this note, others in your group will be able to see it.  And, if you've added a Discuss this note to a particular bit of content and someone in your group adds a note there too, you'll get a notification.

Notifications appear by the bell icon in the top right hand corner of iQualify.

Content with notes already

If you're flicking through pages and see a notes icon that has a green dot next to it, that means there's already a note added. Select the icon to open up the notes already there.
