Authors can add links within text and task elements to direct learners to additional content, outside of iQualify.

Note: This article covers adding an external URL to text or a task, but authors can also link to a file/resource or link to another page in the course (follow the relevant link for instructions).

How to add a link within a text element

  1. Within a text element, either highlight text or place your cursor where you'd like the link.

  2. Select the Chain (Link) in the toolbar, and choose Insert link.

  5. Use Insert to add the link and then Save the text element.

Note: Using a mailto: link isn't recommended as it opens the default email client. With so many people now using web based email services without clients, it's best to simply add the email address as text and have learners copy and paste into their particular email client.
