Use Iris online booking calendars to allow your clients to choose their time, sign the contract and pay the invoice all in one place.

Create an online booking calendar that you can share anywhere—your website, email signature, social media profiles, and more. Booking calendars allow your clients and leads to instantly view your availability and book online. This is an ideal option when you already know your schedule and want to share it publicly.

You can create multiple calendar links—for example, one for each genre of photography you specialize in. All calendars communicate with one another, so you never have to worry about double-booking when you have the same or overlapping availability across multiple calendars.

Best of all, your calendars can be beautifully customized. Add your own photos to showcase your work, set the tone for each service, or highlight your brand’s aesthetic. It even includes a photo carousel to display multiple images—perfect for giving clients a stunning visual experience while they book.

Follow the steps below to get setup.

Start by creating some Booking Calendars

Click Settings > Booking Setup > Click the Create Booking Calendar button.

Title your booking calendar (this is seen by your clients). If you want a lead time, to prevent last minute bookings by requiring sessions to be completed at least X days in advance, check the box and choose the timeframe. Uncheck to allow bookings up until the session start.

Add an image to showcase the session type.

Images should be square 500px x 500px.

Write your introduction (this is seen on the client end in a popup when they choose that session type).

Choose your session type and workflow from the dropdowns.

You can select a location or add a new on in the next section. Also, choose if you want to require client address and add any notes. These notes are not seen by your clients.

Choose whether to require a contract and invoice and if you want to allow coupon codes to be applied to this calendar.

Then Save & Continue to choose your dates available for booking.

*Note: If you are in a Starter plan you will not have the option for Workflow, Gallery Integration or Coupon Codes. If you would like to add these options to your plan please navigate to your subscription page and click the pencil to edit your plan.

They will then click the Book Appointment button and be taken to a calendar to choose a date and time.

They will then click on a highlighted date and choose a time. If there are multiple times they will be listed as shown below.

Once they click a time slot they will be taken to fill out their info. Note the black info bar across the top, this will keep a countdown for 15 minutes

Next, they will sign the contract.

The contract requires a checkmark, typed name and signed name to click continue.
