Canada Eligibility
Updated in the last hour

Our principal Canadian partner is Canada Charity Partners. Here's how you can apply for support from the organization:

1. Through your account, fill out a grant application, detailing your charity, the project or activity that you're seeking a grant for, its impact and budget, and everything else requested by Canada Charity Partners on its application form.

2. The Canadian charity will weigh the substance of your activities, see whether it matches their goals and aims, and assess the risks of working with your charity. It may then approve or reject your application.

3. If approved, Canada Charity Partners will actively appeal to its donors and encourage them to donate towards this project. In addition, you can recruit and appeal to Canadian donors, and ask them to donate to Canada Charity Partners, while recommending that the donation be used towards your organization. This can be done through marketing materials, as well as the online donation forms and tools that we provide.

4. Please note that as per Canadian law, Canada Charity Partners has full control over the funds, as the funds are donated to it, not to your charity. However, the organization will make efforts to respect the donor's recommendation over how the funds should be used (if they can not, the donor will be invited to make a new recommendation).

5. Canada Charity Partners will evaluate each donor's recommendation. If the donor's recommendation is approved. it will apply the donation towards your expected grant amount, and update you of the donor's details through your platform account.

5. Grant payments will be made quarterly.

6. You are required to submit a grant report on the usage of the granted funds, by the end of January of the following fiscal year. Failure to do so will lead to an immediate suspension of future grants.
