Reconciling your donations and deposits
Reconciling your donations and deposits
Updated over a week ago

So you've received many deposits directly from the various credit card companies. How do you know that you received exactly what you should have received? First of all, IsraelGives is here to help. Every month we reconcile all of the payments and fees that you receive, in order to ensure that you've received exactly what you're entitled to. If there's a problem, we'll reach out to the credit card companies on your behalf and try to resolve the situation.

if you or your accountant also wants to reconcile your transactions, here are the ways to do that for the different companies:

  • Meshulam: Sum up your donations and take off all of the fees that you see, multiplied by 1.17. This should equal the amount that you've received as a bank transfer.

  • Paypal/Stripe: You receive every donation individually, and the amount deposited will equal the sum of the donation.

  • IsraelGives: Sum up your donations and take off all of the fees that you see, multiplied by 1.17. This should equal the amount that you've received as a bank transfer.

  • Isracard-IsraelGives:

    1. Select the Date of Deposit that you want to reconcile a deposit for.

    2. Select a card type to reflect the three deposit that you received (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

    3. Sum up the donations, and deduct the credit card fee and the IsraelGives fee (multiplied by 1.17). This should equal the amount that you've received as a bank transfer.

Note that for Isracard, the transaction fee and digital receipt fee are billed by IsraelGives separately.
