In the world of payments and crowdfunding, you can expect to encounter two types of fees: a platform fee, and a credit card fee.
Platform fees
At IsraelGives we don't charge platform fee, and as a result we're the least expensive payment processor and crowdfunding platform in Israel. This is possible because instead of asking you to pay fees, we invite the donor to leave us a tip to support our activities.
If you choose to remove the tip mechanism from the campaign or donation form, we will charge you a platform fee of 2.9%. However, you can add to the donation form the Cover my Fee feature, which invites donors to increase their donation to cover our platform fee (and your credit card fee). 55% of donors do.

Credit card fees
Depending on the payment processor that you selected, the credit card company will charge you a fee. If you process using IsraelGives Payments, you'll pay the least expensive credit card fees in Israel.
Transaction and receipting fees
On every donation there is a ₪1.20 transaction fee.
E-receipting: If you want us to issue a Sec. 46 PDF e-receipt in your name, this costs ₪0.70 per receipt. This is optional.

Other fees
There is a ₪10 fee for every refund that we process.
For every wire transfer we make to you, a ₪5 fee will apply.
If you subscribe to a paid membership plan, a monthly membership fee will apply.
Once you've fundraised more than ₪200 a month in recurring donations, we'll charge you a monthly fee of ₪99 / month for using our recurring donation platform and (at no extra charge) our Infinite Card Updater Service.
How are these fees collected?
Transaction-related fees are deducted from the donation before it's paid out to you. Monthly fees are paid through direct debit (hora'at keva).
