Paystack Overview

Paystack is a leading payment solution for businesses in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa, facilitating seamless payments and payouts. It allows businesses to accept secure card, bank, and mobile money payments from various local and global channels. Paystack also provides a Payment Page that can be shared via SMS, Instagram DM, WhatsApp chat, or other communication channels for easy payment collection.

Supported Payment Methods

With Paystack, your Ivonto store can accept payments via:

Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Verve (Nigeria, Ghana), American Express (Nigeria, South Africa)
Bank Transfer: Available in Nigeria
Mobile Money: Available in Ghana
Masterpass: Available in South Africa
EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer): Available in South Africa
USSD: Available in Nigeria
Visa QR: Available in Nigeria

Paystack can process payments from MasterCard, Visa, and Verve cards issued globally. American Express cards are also supported for businesses based in Nigeria and South Africa.

How to Set Up Paystack Payment Gateway

To integrate Paystack into your Ivonto store, follow these steps:

Log in to your Ivonto admin panel.
Navigate to Settings → Payments.
Click on "Add payment method."
Select "Paystack" as your payment provider (if available with your store currency).
Enable the payment method by toggling the switch.
Enter the "Secret Key" from your Paystack account and click "Submit."

To test the keys in Sandbox mode:

Click on "More options" on the same page.
Enable the Sandbox mode toggle.
Enter the same keys into the "Test Secret key" input box to test the Paystack payment method at checkout.
