Understanding Listing Conditions

What you will learn

When you create a listing, Jamble asks for the item's Condição (Condition). The options change with the category: a Pokémon card is not rated like a piece of clothing or a coin. This guide shows the conditions for each category, what each one means and how to choose the right one.

Before you start

Have the item in hand and good light to check every detail. Condition is required in every category.

Where to choose the condition

  1. When you create or edit a product, in the app or in the Seller Hub, choose the Categoria (Category) first

  2. After that, the Condição field appears with the options for that category

  3. Tap Condição and choose the option that describes the item. Each option shows a short description, which the buyer also sees

If you change the category, choose the condition again, because the options may change.

Conditions by category

The app shows the labels in Portuguese. The English meaning is in parentheses.

How to choose the right condition

Follow a simple rule: when in doubt, choose one level lower. It is better for the buyer to get an item a bit better than expected than a bit worse.

  • Factory sealed product: use Novo when the category has this option. In categories without Novo, such as Bonecos and Figurinhas, only use Mint if the packaging is also perfect

  • Single cards: Mint and Quase Mint are for cards with no visible marks. White edges, scratches or creases call for Pouco Usado or Muito Usado

  • Boxed cars and figures: the box condition counts. Dents, tears or a loose blister must show in the photos and the description

  • Clothes and shoes: only use Novo com etiquetas if the tags are still attached

What to write in the description

The condition is only the summary. The description and the photos fill in the details. The lower the condition, the more detail you should give:

  • Show the item front and back

  • Take close-up photos of every defect: scratches, worn edges, dents, stains

  • For graded cards, show the grade and the grading service in the photo and fill in the listing fields when the category has them

Edit the condition after listing

You can change the condition as long as the product has not been sold. Open the product, tap Editar (Edit) and save the new condition.

Important tips

  • Be accurate. Buyers decide by looking at your photos and the condition you chose. If the item arrives different, they can ask support for help

  • Show the defects. Transparency avoids doubts and problems after the sale

  • Check the category. The right condition depends on the right category

Frequently asked questions

Why did the condition options change? Conditions depend on the category. When you change the category, the options change.

Can I change the condition after listing? Yes, as long as the product has not been sold. Open the product, tap Editar and save.

Which condition do I use for a sealed booster? Use Novo, which exists in the TCG and Cards Esportivos categories.

What happens if the buyer says the condition does not match? The buyer can contact support. The more accurate your condition, description and photos are, the easier it is to solve.
