How to Start a New Document
Click "New" → "Document" in your Jenni workspace.
Jenni will ask you to write a prompt describing what your paper is about.
For best results, include:
The type of manuscript (e.g., literature review, argumentative essay, research proposal)
Your main research question or thesis
Any important context or keywords related to your topic
Example: “A literature review on the emerging challenges and opportunities within the metaverse, focusing on digital identity and virtual economies.”
As you type, Jenni will give you real-time feedback on how detailed your prompt is. The more specific your prompt, the better your outline will be.
Choose Your Outline Style
Once you're happy with your prompt, Jenni will ask you to choose between two outline types:
Standard Headings: For a traditional academic structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, etc.)
Creative Headings: To explore different directions or when you're brainstorming
Once you’ve selected a outline style:
Jenni generates a complete outline including a sample title and relevant sections.
You can now begin drafting your paper directly in the workspace.
