Mass Edit Existing Jobs

All at Once, Update, Multiple, Change, Editing, Updating, Many

  1. From the Jobs tab, type in search criteria to filter down your jobs list 

    a. For example, 1040

2. Check the box in the far right column to select all jobs in the current page your viewing

3. Once all jobs are selected, click the drop-down menu to the right of the "Select All" checkbox

4. You can choose to mass edit the Job details or the Advanced settings

5. Below is what you can edit if you select Job details
    a. Job name
    b. Job description
    c. Client
    d. Manager
    e. Due date
    f. Repeat criteria

        i. Click the checkbox of the section you would like to mass update and enter the              change you which to make
        ii. For example, if you want to mass update the job names, click the check box                  shown below 

        iii. Then enter in the new name and click the Update jobs button

6. Below is what you can edit if you select Advanced settings
    a. Billing model
    b. Additional budget amount
    c. Budgeted time
    d. Turnaround time
    e. Extended due date
    f. In date
    g. Out date

        i. Just as with the Job details, check the box of the attribute you want to mass                  edit

        ii. For example, if you want to mass update the billing model type, click the                        checkbox next to Update billing model
        iii. Select your new billing model
        iv. Click the Update jobs button to mass apply the change out to your selected                  jobs

7. All done!
