What Will We Learn Here?

In this guide, we will learn how to add an extra layer of protection to your JGive account. This process is called "Two-Factor Authentication," and the meaning is simple: to log in, a password isn't enough—you also need a one-time code sent to your email. This ensures that even if someone discovers your password, they won't be able to access your account.

  1. 1. Accessing Account Settings

The setting is located within your Personal Area.

    1. Log in to the JGive website.

    2. Click on your name (or personal icon) in the top corner and then on "My Personal Account".

    3. In the menu that opens, click on "Settings".

  2. The security switch is located under the password tab.

    1. On the settings page, click on the "Password" tab.

    2. Look for the toggle switch next to the text "Muilti-Factor Authentication enabled?".

    3. Click the switch.

  3. Once the button is turned on (colored pink), the Two-Step Verification is enabled:

Pay attention! Each time you log in, you will need to enter a code sent to your registered email.
