Deposit receipt, Tax refund, Keren Asor, Download receipt, Private fund deposits.

Updated over a week ago

In this guide, we will learn where to find the official tax receipt and how to download it at any time from your Personal Area on the site.

Before We Start

When is the receipt ready?

  • Credit Card Deposits: The receipt is sent automatically to your email immediately after the transaction is completed.

  • Bank Transfers or Checks: The receipt will be generated and sent only after the funds have been actually received and processed in the "Keren Asor" (Jgive) bank account.

Steps to Download Your Receipt

Option 1: Via Email (Automatic)

As soon as the deposit is processed, an email with a link to download the receipt is sent to you.

  • Check your inbox for a message from Jgive.

  • Can't find it? Check your "Promotions" or "Spam" folders.

Option 2: Via the Website (Always Available)

You can access your deposit history and receipts at any time through the website.

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Click on "My Account" (in the top menu) -> "My Personal Account".

  3. Switch to the "Fund Deposits" tab.

  4. In the table, locate the relevant deposit and click the Download icon in the "Receipt" column.

The file will download to your computer immediately, ready for tax purposes.

Summary

Receipts for deposits to your personal fund are sent via email but are always backed up on the site under the "Private Fund Deposits" tab. Remember that if you deposited via bank transfer, it takes a little longer for the receipt to arrive (until the funds are received by the bank).

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I deposited via bank transfer yesterday and still don't have a receipt. Why? A: For bank transfers and checks, the system generates a receipt only after we "see the money" in the Keren Asor bank account. This process may take a few business days.

Q: Is this receipt tax-deductible? A: Yes. The receipt is issued by "Keren Asor" (Public Benefit Corp) and is recognized for tax refunds (Section 46 in Israel, or 501c3 in the US if you donated in USD).
