When you purchase off-site biodiversity units, you need to upload the purchase details into the Joe’s Blooms tool so your Biodiversity Gain Plan (BGP) updates correctly
You should only follow this guide if you have already purchased off-site units and have recieved a metric from the off-site provider
Step-by-step
On the main page Open the BNG Solution Finder and click Enhancement
2. Select Explore Off-site options and click Find / Add Off-Site Units
3. Choose I’ve purchased Biodiversity Units and click continue
4. Upload the documents you received from your off-site provider (e.g. BNGx)
Once uploads are complete, re-download your BGP from the main page — it will now include the off-site gains and be updated accordingly
