Many applicants would like to plant wildflower meadows as part of their solution to reach a 10% uplift. While there isn't a specific habitat type for this, there is a way to do it!
Go to the BNG Solution Finder
Press on Creation (in the middle of the screen)
Press the yellow + button
Press "add intended work"
Select grassland and then select "other neutral grassland" and then select "moderate"
Draw in where the wildflower meadow will go
Return to the BNG solution finder
Make sure that the wildflower mix is part of a comprehensive plan to create the "other neutral grassland" (full details here). Please note, it's not as simple as just planting wildflower seed!!
