Add a menu to Standard email templates

How to add and configure a navigation menu block in Joomag's Standard Email Template Editor.

With Joomag's Standard Email Template Editor, you can place a menu into your template. Here is how:

1. From the Content tab, select MENU and drag it to the place you want.

2. Click on it to open the settings panel on the right side of the editor.

The styling options are divided into the following sections:

Important: The styling options applied for desktop are also applied to mobile. To change styling for mobile devices, click the Mobile tab on the settings panel.

Menu Items

Click Add New Item, then enter the name for the menu item.

Note: You can add as many menu items as you want and drag them to reorder.

Select the action performed when a user clicks on a menu item:

Open Website

Redirects the user to your specified URL. Enter the URL and select whether to open it in the same or new tab.

Send Email

Opens an email box. Enter the recipient address, subject, and body text which users can modify before sending.

Call Phone Number

Makes a call to the phone number you've provided.

Send SMS

Lets the user send an SMS to the phone number you've provided.

Note: Actions are the same for both mobile and desktop views and cannot be changed per mode.

Styles

Customize the menu item's appearance:

Font Family: Select the required font from the drop-down menu.

Font Size: Use the arrows or enter a value to change the font size.

Text Color / Link Color: Change the color of the text or hyperlinked part using the Color Picker, hexadecimal code, or RGB code.

Align: left, center, right, or justify.

Layout: Select horizontal or vertical navigation. For horizontal, choose how to separate the menu items.

Padding: Set space between the content block and its border. Turn off More Options to apply uniform spacing to all sides.

General

Change the container padding. By default, spacing changes evenly on all sides. Turn on More Options to set different spacing per side.

Responsive Design

Hide the menu on desktop or mobile, allowing you to create different menus per device in the same template.

Check how the email looks on both desktop and mobile and adjust each separately.

When done, click Save to save your changes.

Duplicate and Delete

Any content block inserted from the Email Editor toolbar can be duplicated or deleted.
