Creating custom pop-ups in the Crater Editor

You can make your own publications with even more advanced interactive content using Joomag's custom pop-up builder.

This feature allows the creation of pop-ups with buttons, customized backgrounds, close buttons, images, texts and much more.

To create a custom pop-up perform these steps:

  1. Open your publication in the Edit mode

  2. Click on the Hotspot tool and open the Pop-ups section

  3. Choose the Custom pop-up option and click Build your Pop-up button

  4. After clicking Start from the blank button you can

    1. add content by dragging and dropping the needed content blocks

    2. add a new content block

    3. edit the pop-up layout

  5. Once finished, click Save as a Template or Add to Hotspot button

    1. If you choose the Save as a Template option, make sure to give a name to the newly created template and then click Save Template button

    2. If you choose Add to Hotspot button just click the Add to page button and the pop-up will be added to the publication page
